Country Manager
P/L responsibility - growth company
Leica Geosystems Finland is well-established in the Finnish market with significant market share in our main business areas. The company has a solid position in terms of solutions for the building and construction sector and benefits from strong competences within R&D. Commercial management and organisational development
As a key element of Leica Geosystems’ growth strategy, a Country Manager is appointed and becomes the registered director of Leica Geosystems’ Finnish sales company. The Country Manager will report to the EVP Global Sales and will have overall P/L responsibility for the activities in Finland. The organisation consists of approx. 35 employees, almost equally divided between sales, after market and operations (installation, warehouse, customer service).
As Country Manager, you will set a clear direction for the organisation, prepare local action plans and programmes, motivate your employees and ensure clarity in relation to tasks and goals.

  • analysing market opportunities
  • drive sales channel development
  • optimising sales processes
  • strategic Operations Planning
  • marketing initiatives
  • product launches
  • administrative tasks.

Experienced sales leader with a desire for more
You already have a proven track record as a leader of commercial activities and are keen to take on broader responsibilities. Ideally, you’ll have experience selling technical products, and it’s a clear advantage if you’re familiar with the construction sector.
Your educational background may come from engineering disciplines, for example surveying, building construction or civil engineering, but you may also have a commercial background and then acquired relevant technical insight.
The role will be based in our Finnish main office in Espoo.It is important that you have a high degree of flexibility in relation to travelling in Finland.
