Here is a description of the role we are opening:

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for stamping tool maintenance
• Responsible in maintaining the tool maintenance room
• Responsible for delivering stamping tool on time for punching workshop production
• Responsible for stamping tool quality are met before sending for production
• Responsible for incoming tooling inspection
• Ensure all document needed for the tooling are ready & traceable
• Check spare inventory quantities for tooling support
• Provide support to others workshop on fabrication
• Support the tooling engineer for new tooling Jig & Fixture incoming inspection
• Follow up on external fabrication tasked by Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent
• Able to interpret engineering drawing Knowledge of using smartscope for measurement preferable Min 5-6 years relevant experience in stamping tool
• Able to perform precision grinding, tool assembly and bench fitting
• Able to perform dimensional check on the tool & punched product
• Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent
• Able to carry out tasks and duties independently, decision making on tooling quality
• Great team player and responsible in tasks and duties assigned
• Able to work under shift conditions and any shift patterns assigned/arranged by Supervisor
