Toolmaker - Injection moulding

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced plastics injection moulding tool-maker to join our busy Tool room, in Avondale, Auckland. You will work for a high-profile, award-winning west Auckland manufacturer and exporter of a diverse range of plastic products used in medical, industrial as well as homeware and food storage.
You will be responsible for designing and manufacturing moulds, dies, or casts for mass-production product containers as well as designing and manufacturing one-off tools needed within an industry.

The ideal candidate:

• Must be conversant with machining precision injection mould components using a range of machinery.
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• CNC programming and machining - experience preferred
• Mould servicing and repair work
• Mould modifications
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment
• Be a team player
• Possess at least three (3) years relevant experience

This is a permanent, full-time position. Generally working 40 hours per week with the option to work longer hours. Wage rate from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour; dependent on skills and experience.
