Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, fixtures and tools, using machine tools and hand tools.
- Examine faulty machinery and equipment for defects
- Remove and replace damaged parts
- Undertakes regular emergency repairs of metal parts of machinery & equipment
- Maintain sufficient levels of inventory to support all tool maintenance
- Routine maintenance program for all tools in the businesses
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Optimise tooling processes for improved manufacturing productivity
- Collaborate on innovative tooling methods across teams
- Provide technical support to ensure smooth productio
