SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in building tools for Unreal Engine and experience with C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of the art pipeline and optimization techniques.
- Experience in creating VFX and technical art solutions.
- Strong understanding of rendering techniques and optimization strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with artists to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient tools.
- Collaborate with the engine team to define technical requirements and address rendering challenges.
- Conduct spikes to develop solutions for rendering and technical issues with Unreal Engine 5.
- Develop VFX and technical art solutions to enhance visual fidelity.
- Write pipeline tools to streamline content integration and connect Unreal Engine 5 with the game core.
- Dive into graphics optimization to enhance overall performance.
- Provide ongoing assistance to the art team, offering technical support and guidance.
- Expand and refine engine tools to improve workflow efficiency.
