Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently on the search for a Tour Reservations Agent for our client BackTrack Adventures, based in Brisbane, QLD. We’re looking for someone who can contribute to the day-to-day management and growth of Back Track Adventures’ tour portfolio through the friendly and efficient handling of client enquiries and bookings.
This is a customer service as well as sales role – if we meet or ideally exceed our client’s needs, and provide exceptional service and advice, the financial rewards will follow.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Qualifying & recommending – determining a client’s needs, expectations and abilities and presenting options for their trip based on these.
  • Planning & booking – based on client decisions and using a variety of reservations systems arrange, book & issue all aspects of the client’s trip – including but not limited to Back Track.
  • Adventures journey, flights, accommodation, day or extended touring & travel insurance
  • Update enquiry summary sheets
  • Monitor trip manifests and Cross Check trip files, and update where necessary.
  • Provide advice and offer our assistance with obtaining any required visas.
  • Update clients where necessary on changes to bookings
  • Work alongside the Tour Operations Coordinator to ensure clarity of information and client satisfaction.
  • Assist with producing final travel documents, where necessary
  • After sales service – bon voyage & welcome home messages and seeking feedback.
  • Participate in approved and relevant familiarisation trips where required.
  • Maintain accurate financial processes related to client’s bookings
  • Participate in weekly team meetings
  • Participate in regular product updates and training
