Description:
As a Touring Consultant at Exclusive Destinations, you are part of a team that enhances guest experiences through personalized handling of reservation requests. In this role, you will deliver highly quality and efficient service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional Safari experience. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Quoting, managing and making tour operating bookings including flights, transfers, restaurant reservations, as well as accommodation bookings.
- Help clients and agents identify the ideal travel itinerary based on their plans and requirements.
- Regularly maintain a good relationship with our clients and agents.
- Provide all relevant and essential information to the clients regarding their travel.
- Sell the appropriate tour package to the right client.
- Negotiate any customisations or modifications requested and accommodate to the best level possible.
- Ensure all quotations are followed up on a regular basis in order to ensure maximum revenue.
- Creating and managing all travel logistics and file handling, including financial aspects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Destination knowledge, including accommodation, transfers and flights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- High level of computer literacy.
- The ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
- The ability to work well within a team environment and without supervision.
- Attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and mannerisms required.
