We have an exciting and rare 12-month fixed term opportunity to join our TOYOTA GAZOO Racing team in Hampton Downs as a Parts Consultant!
This role will see you responsible for managing & organising parts for the GR86, TR86 and CTFROC racing series. This role is full-time, based at the Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, Monday – Friday. Some race weekend work may be required.
What’s involved in the role:
Processing and ordering parts from different suppliers.
Managing parts stock, maintaining appropriate stock levels to ensure demand is met and completing stock take when required.
Maintaining and working in our Parts Management System (entering and processing received parts into system, processing parts sales and generating invoices).
Organising storage of parts in the workshop.
Working closely with key stakeholders to provide parts support (TNZ Parts team, customers, contractors, race car owners and teams, suppliers etc).
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
Experience working in an Automotive Parts role and an interest in Motorsport.
Experience using a Parts Management System, good computer skills and Microsoft Excel experience.
Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders – ideally you will have experience working with customers and great communication skills.
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Forklift License (not required but is a bonus).
Ideally, you will have a combination of parts experience paired with customer service skills and the ability to work closely and build relationships with a variety of different people.
