We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant to join the maintenance team at our client’s large, modern facility in Wacol. They’re Australia’s largest smallgoods meat and food processing manufacturer!!!
HOURS OF WORK FROM 6AM TO 2.30PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY PLUS POTENTIAL OVERTIME
This position will be assisting the maintenance team maintaining equipment to support the day-to-day production requirements of the business.
We are looking for self-motivated person who is reliable and takes pride in their work, with a strong safety focus!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with repairs
- Help to ensure the plant maintains the highest level of productivity possible to achieve business targets
- Repair facilities and assistance implementing site improvements
- Provide support to tradespeople
- Follow safe work practices
- Participate in continuous improvements and problem-solving initiatives
- Speedy reaction to breakdowns and urgent work
- Ensure all documentation is maintained as required
