ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate has bulk execution experience in a similar role within grains or related commodities such as palm oil, rice, sugar, fertiliser, metals, etc. You should have sound knowledge of the standard contracts which apply to your industry. You should also display:

• Sound knowledge of Incoterms
• Knowledge of payment instruments
• Knowledge of charter party preferred

Progressed candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at our Sydney offices and reporting to the Head of Trade Execution, GrainCorp is seeking a new team member to join us as a Trade Execution Coordinator. The role is responsible for managing the execution of grain contracts for bulk shipping. The role will also entail:

• Manage the day to day tasks of planning, shipping, invoicing, presenting documents and monitoring payments from the export or purchase point to the import or sales point
• Execute charter parties
• Proactively identify and resolve critical issues preventing flawless execution
• Ensuring compliance with all export and import requirements as well as with GrainCorp’s corporate policies
