The Client is an International Corporate Bank and is seeking a suitable Trade finance Operations candidate.
Some of the Key responsibilities include.
- Manage the lifecycle of the trade financing process
- Review and Issue Letter of Credit (LC) and ensure compliance with regulationsNegotiate/Collect documents and trace Payment/Acceptance on both Export and Import bills.
- up on non-payment.
- Oversee the loans transactions, including monitoring commitment fee payments.
- Settle/Facilitate payments and coordinate with internal functions to uplift offering tickets concerning bank limits/sell down matters.
- Ensure strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to avoid operational risks.
To be eligible for this role you will require
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Trade finance operations, preferably within the Banking/ Financial services industry
- Experience in receivables financing is a must
- Strong understanding of trade finance regulations and guidelines, including UCP, ISP, ISBP, URDG, URC, URR, and Incoterms.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to ensure smooth operations of the trade financing process
