Your role at Clorox:
Lead the Trade Marketing function, managing the interaction with all functional areas & Distributors. Develop, plan and lead all commercial plans to ensure accurate execution and achievement of the targets. Implement and develop tools to provide insight to business situations to anticipate/react to opportunities and improve resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the development of the Customer Business Plan for Key customers in partnership with Team leaders/KAM. Co-manages key customers Investment agreements with KAM to increase performance-based counterparts and continuously improve execution and innovate. Works in close partnership with Customer Team and Field Sales to support key initiatives conceptual sell and supervise execution.
  • Work with Field Sales Teams to lead and Analyze business opportunities for key customers and develops plans accordingly.
  • Manage, Analyze & report all Reduced Revenue and Sales Promotion investment plans/needs into forecasting processes. Works with Sales Finance on customer profitability analysis and evaluation to maximize ROI.
  • Plan and develop custom-made/innovative RCM plans for Key customers aligned with specific shopper insights to drive differentiation for our customers and business growth Oversee & Guide CAS work to position Clorox as preferred and valuable partner for key strategic customers. People Development: Lead, mentor and promote the Trade Marketing Team

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree preferably in Business Administration or equivalent working experience. MBA advantageous.
  • 5-7 years experience in trade marketing role. Sales experience preferred. Marketing experience a plus/not vital.
  • Demonstrated excellent work relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and creative thinking skills are required.
  • Demonstrated abilities in leading, decision making.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills used to uncover business opportunities and lead day-to-day business issues.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Personally passionate/ curiosity about Trade Marketing Role/Sales
  • Solid understanding of all core operating functional areas, including finance, Sales, and Product Supply (experience interacting with those areas)
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach. Need to be practical (street-smart)
  • Meticulous, detailed oriented
