Description:

EC1 Partners is working with an independent financial technology firm that provides global trading solutions. They are looking for an experienced Trade Support Specialist / Production Engineer to join them in Singapore. The company is growing quickly and has been increasing its market share within the fixed income e-trading world.
Working as a Production Support Engineer you will be responsible for platform and trade enquiries from their institutional APAC customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users
  • Troubleshooting and analysis of order routing and trade flow and post trade issues
  • Working with the sales and traders daily to assist with any trade platform issues
  • Collaborate with a global support team that works to a follow the sun model
  • Track issues within an incident-tracking systems to help identify trends and patterns
  • Create and monitor internal reports

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of support experience within the e-trading platform space on either the buy or sell side or platform provider
  • Ideally, have a strong understanding of fixed income products and flows or understand trade flows in general
  • Good FIX protocol and experience supporting FIX flows
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships with external stakeholders and customers
  • ITIL foundation qualification is desirable
