ABOUT THE JOB:

As a valued Workshop & Warehouse Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing our products to the highest standards. Working closely with tradespeople, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive excellence in our operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair all products
  • Perform assigned work on Artificial Lift products in the workshop
  • Communicate product performance and reliability issues with the manager
  • Drive and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop, yard, warehouse, and vehicles
  • Ensure tools, plant, and equipment are properly maintained
  • Stay updated on new products and procedures through ongoing learning and training
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in all tasks and decisions

The successful applicant must have

  • Two or more years of relevant experience in a stores or warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience in inspecting, testing, and repairing industrial equipment.
  • Experience in shipping and order management - preferred, but not essential
  • High School Certificate
  • Open QLD MR Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
  • Forklift Licence – Preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
