We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Qualified Manufacturing Technician to join Tip Top at our Charmhaven site. Reporting to our Senior Manufacturing Technician, this role will be responsible for operating equipment across the bakery such HMI screens, product changeovers involving equipment and product, controlling quality, safety, and promoting continuous improvement across the site.
Purpose of the role
- Operating of equipment across the site, which involves changeovers, setting up and shutting down of the line
- Operating of high-speed, automated equipment
- Supporting the reliability team with PM and breakdown work
- Attending to breakdowns across the line as required
- Monitoring and controlling the quality by supporting the site quality management systems and maintaining a safety culture focused on risk reduction/management, injury prevention and continual improvement
- Contribute to the optimisation of the plant, both in operation and planning to meet customers’ requirements in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Support and coach others to execute CI and drive manufacturing efficiencies
