About the position: Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we’re looking for a Trading Operations Specialist to join our Trading & Execution Services team. The Trading Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the trading desk, coordinating activities, and ensuring efficient execution of trades while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with a team of trading operations specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team success and adherence to established procedures
  • Coordinate trading activities, including trade execution, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactionsMonitor trade flows, troubleshoot issues, and escalate unresolved issues to management or relevant stakeholders as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Advisor Services and other internal teams to facilitate smooth execution of trades and resolve any operational issues or discrepanciesDevelop and implement process improvements, automation initiatives and best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of trading operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards, and participate in audits and regulatory examinations as necessary
  • Stay informed about market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting trading operations, and communicate relevant information to team members and stakeholders
