Description:
Traditional Owner Project Officer
- Salary: $92,332 - $104,762 (Plus Superannuation)
- Ongoing role
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)
Responsibilities:
- Contribute expertise to a team working on complex projects that impact Traditional Owners, prepare related project scopes and briefs and assist in the delivery of related policies and programs, including the flagship Traditional Owner Game Management Strategy.
- Contribute to/or undertake research, analysis and development of policy responses and provide accurate and concise evidence-based advice to Ministers and departmental executive on a wide range of complex and sensitive issues that impact on the delivery of departmental programs.
- Prepare submissions, reports, briefings and correspondence, papers and presentations to senior management, the Minister, RDOR executive and other relevant stakeholders on a range of policy issues that are clear, concise, and grammatically correct and that demonstrates an understanding of the policy, political and legal context
