Traffic Analyst

We are looking for Traffic Analyst into our Global Logistics Operation Team. He/She would be responsible for follow up our ongoing transport all air/sea/road.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min 2 years working experience in logistics and/or transportation
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes as it relates to the supply chain.
• Degree in BA or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good communication and analytics skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate in English (written/verbal) at mid-level minimum
• Pro-Active attitude
• Able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with intermediate to expert functions.
• Knowledge of Trade Compliance will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of supply chain mgmt practices, procurement, materials management, manufacturing processes, business fundamentals/finance, advanced knowledge of logistics and understanding of logistic strategies.
• Pro-actively shares ideas and solutions outside their own team

• Aligns and implements global logistic strategies that provide the optimal total value for NI
• Coordinate daily logistic communication activities between the forwarders and consignee.
• Follow up with forwarders/logistics service providers on shipment statuses.
• The focal contact point between factory and branch/customers on shipment related communication/updates
• Managing & focal contact point for all logistics service provider
• Drive & track all KPIs outlined by the Global Logistic team.
• Support all urgent, special and EOQ logistic activities.
• Follow-up actions are required if any variance is captured during the EOQ
• Manages and fosters relationships with NI’s supply base and drives resolutions to conflicts including quality of service and cost
• Directs activities around new supplier assessments, disengagements, performance improvement plans, formal supplier reviews, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Communicate all around the Globe in international transportation.
• Coordinates and consolidates domestic and international transportation systems.
• Ensures lowest cost transportation by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods and auditing carrier costs and performances.
• Interprets laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
• Maintains logs and compiles information on routes, rates and services on various vendors.
