Description:

With a base at our workshop in Scunthorpe, we’re looking for a Mobile Trailer Mechanic who enjoys being on the road and lending a helping hand to our customers in need.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, and repair trailers to high maintenance standards, ensuring compliance with company EHS guidelines and legislation at customers sites/VMU’s/TIP workshops or roadside.
- Complete all compliance details accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service within specified deadlines.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate TIP values and behaviors consistently.
Qualifications:
- Time-served technician or City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent experience in trailer repairs.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Double deck maintenance experience preferred.
- Enthusiastic with good communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to complete written documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
- Ability to work autonomously if required.

Job type:
- Permanent full-time, 10-hour shift, Mon-Fri
