TRAIN STATION OPERATOR/ SHUNTER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Operate and monitor train station equipment, including ticket machines, platform displays, and security systems.
• Assist passengers with ticket purchases, boarding, and directions to train platforms.
• Monitor train schedules and announcements to keep passengers informed of arrivals, departures, and delays.
• Coordinate with station supervisors and other personnel to address operational issues and emergencies.
• Conduct routine inspections of station facilities and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for passengers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• The Personnel should ideally possess a minimum of NTC 2/3, GCE O-level, or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in transportation or hospitality.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, public address systems, and basic computer skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
