It goes without saying that you will need to be a good Administrator, able to work quickly and accurately, and with an ability to manage your time and workload effectively under pressure.
Having a demonstrable interest in developing a career within the Property sector is a huge advantage - in this role you will learn all about Property Compliance, the Law of Property Act, and Property Maintenance - which will give you an excellent foundation to progress from into any number of more senior roles across our business in time and with the right attitude. We love to invest in our team and as such we are occasionally able to offer funding for our staff to undertake ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agents) qualifications too!
You will need to be able to communicate with the best of them! Both from a written and verbal standpoint.
Finally, you will be computer literate with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages and aptitude for picking up new systems quickly.

The Trainee Account Manager role (known internally as the LPA Account Manager), based at our purpose built modern office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, is a fantastic opportunity for someone to kick-start or develop their property career within a supportive and progressive team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will be responsible for gathering and compiling information on vacant and tenanted properties in order to report to the Law of Property Act (LPA) receivers to enable them to ensure effective strategies on buy to let properties. This will involve adhering to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) whilst ensuring regulatory compliance across the portfolio and delivering a high-level service to the receivers and lender clients. The role will also include liaising with solicitors, borrowers and tenants.
Key tasks include:
- Ensuring all tenanted properties meet safety requirements
- Processing and issuuing tenant notices, including litigation proceedings with solicitors
- Managing move outs and deposit returns
- Organising maintenance estimates and works
