Description:

We are delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for an aspiring trainee advanced clinical practitioner to join our paediatric emergency department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust supporting our current team of ACPs. At BTHFT we recognise that ACPs are an integral part of the NHS workforce in the 21st century as they provide flexibility and new ways of working and we are looking to appoint a trainee ACP with a passion to providing the highest standard of clinical expertise and autonomous practice.
There has been major investment in the ACP workforce at BTHFT including Urgent Care to improve performance and to ensure patients are provided with a positive experience when requiring our care. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic trainee practitioner with a desire to develop exceptional leadership skills and experience working in a paediatric emergency department setting. They will provide holistic, personalised care and will take pride in caring for our community in Bradford. The trainee ACP will link with members of a fantastic, well established and efficient team of ACPs.

The post holder will be practicing under supervision as a trainee within clinical placement areas to provide advanced patient-centred care. This will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the clinical placements.
The post holder will, under supervision, assist in the safe assessment, management, referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in any area of clinical placement
