Description:
You will be employed as a trainee, to successfully complete the Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Masters Degree (MSc Level 7, 3 years) program in line with the Health Education England (HEE) Multi-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice, and their primary professional regulatory body. You will work towards fulfilling the expectations and core capabilities of an ACP as set out in the HEE Multi-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice in England. This will be achieved through workplace-based assessments in clinical practice, with a named clinical supervisor, and clinical supervision in own service/specialty area. The trainee role will be supported in their professional development and wellbeing, in order to prepare for transition to a qualified ACP role on achievement of the academic requirements, and evidence of workplace-based capability and competence within their service/specialty.
As a trainee will be expected to demonstrate and develop proficiency across the four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice, namely Clinical, Leadership and Management, Education and Research You will be expected to work towards successfully completing the Royal College of Emergency Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner curriculum. The curriculum defines the competences that the EM-ACP is expected to demonstrate and describes the expected standard and required evidence. The trainee will aim for credential status with the College. You will be required to work as part of a skilled team to support and provide safe, clinical and effective clinical care.
You will be expected to provide a holistic, patient-centred approach to planning care and undertake a range of clinical duties
