Description:

This position supports the Automation Solutions Team in the delivery of RPA across the Trust. As a Trainee the postholder will learn and be involved in all aspects of the automation lifecycle including design, programming, version control, testing, documentation, technical implementation, and deployment.
The postholder will Support the Digital Health Team in providing an efficient, reliable, responsive, and timely automation and integration service.
They will be monitoring automation solutions to ensure that they are running effectively.
Responsible for reviewing process exceptions (business and system) and undertaking high level review and escalating to the Senior Developers for corrective action.
Supporting the design and development of automations in line with requirements.

Support the Digital Health Team in providing an efficient, reliable, responsive, and timely automation and integration service.

  • Monitor automation solutions to ensure that they are running effectively.
  • Review process exceptions (business and system) undertaking high level review and escalating to the Senior Developers for corrective action.
  • Support in the design and development of automations in line with requirements
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior RPA Developer on the progress of work and any emerging issues or challenges to meeting agreed delivery dates.
  • Keep abreast of team plans and all aspects of the RPA lifecycle.
  • Ensure the departmental requirement to produce valid and reliable documentation is adhered to, including version control (guidance will be provided)
  • Regularly creates reports/documentation, develop automations, maintain computer systems including virtual computers and user accounts.
  • Planning the automation and test plans with digital colleagues, some of which would be ongoing.

  • Saving and maintaining the documentation relevant to the automations developed/in use.
