Description:

The “UniCredit Graduate Program” is how you kickstart your career through a stimulating and exciting journey in one of Europe’s leading financial institutions.
Our 12 months rotation-based graduate program offers the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking, international, and supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and thrive while making an impact and empowering communities to progress.
Within the Strategic, Credit & Integrated Risk area of our bank’s Chief Risk Office (CRO), the Credit Risk Modelling team is responsible for the conception of rating processes and the development and implementation of rating models. We are delivering the tools to keep the credit risk of the bank under control. We are claiming to have adequate estimation of probability of default, exposure at default and loss given default, always keeping regulatory and internal rules in the focus. To do so, we are using innovative approaches for modelling and digitalization. Our departement is characterized by an international and dynamic environment and we are always keeping an eye on the details.

Responsibilities:

The Graduate Program in our Credit Risk Modelling team with focus on rating methods offers you an attractive career start. Through your involvement and active participation in a wide range of topics, you will gain a broad overview of the team’s main areas of activity. In addition, you will gain exciting insights into other areas of risk management and other competence lines/divisions through an individually designed rotation plan. You also have the option of gaining experience abroad. On top of this, you will receive off-the-job training measures that will sharpen your profile personally and as a decision-maker.

As we are delivering the tools to steer the credit risk of the bank, the following topics will be in the focus of your activity:

  • New development and refinement of internal rating models
  • Monitoring and maintenance of existing rating models
  • Ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements as issued by ECB
  • Surveilling and ensuring the applicability of group-wide rating models
  • Ensuring the correct calculation of key risk parameters
