Description:

The role as trainee for Operators Executive/Manager will have a key focus on :

  • Liaising with the vessels/agents/charterers/owners/Shippers/ Receiver/other external parties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Daily monitoring of vessels positions/schedules
  • Assistance to Chartering providing information around all running voyages
  • Time charter operations
  • Voyage operations including stowage optimizing (TC and VC)
  • Issuing invoices and hire statements, handle laytime and demurrage
  • Finalisation of voyages (TC and VC) including follow up
  • Managing port calls including negotiating port disbursement accounts
  • Coordination of hold/hull cleaning procedure with technical departments and Master
  • Checking and approval of B/L drafts, commission invoices, FDA, bunker invoices and notifications for pre-funding to the accounting
  • Any other duties as per required from time to time.

Job requirements:

  • Degree in Maritime Study or Graduate of a recognized university in a Maritime related course.
  • Team player who works well with others, but who can work as an individual and make independent decisions
  • Good skills in Microsoft office, and knowledge of IMOS, CFM, SEDNA will be an advantage
  • Proficient in English
  • Attention to detail
