Trainee Laboratory Technician

Macquarie Geotechnical is a Geotechnical Consultancy and Construction Materials Testing company working on road, rail & mining Infrastructure projects throughout regional NSW. We currently have a vacancy in our Dubbo office for a Trainee Laboratory Technician.
The role would involve Construction Materials Testing in the laboratory with occasional field works.
Training will comprise of structured on-the-job training as well as undertaking a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Great attitude and ability to learn & work in a team environment
• Good computer skills
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass a ‘fit to work’ medical & regular drug and alcohol screening
• The position involves manual labour
• A driver’s licence is preferred but not essential.
