The opportunities of a career in this area are endless, so for someone who has an attitude and willingness to learn both personally and professionally, is capable using and learning new technology and has strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills, this might just be the secret sauce.
The role will be hands on, which for the right person, is JUST what you want to hear! Tasks include using RF guns to manage inventory, quality check goods and stock levels, cycle counting and stocktaking but also administrative duties to ensure accurate reporting, recording and entering of information into multiple systems.

Each day will vary and you will be constantly connecting with your colleagues and production team members to ensure the operations of the site are smooth, correctly resourced and efficient.

  • As a trainee, your employment will supplement your formal, tertiary qualifications as such, you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations and satisfy all relevant coursework.
  • The role is full time for a fixed term of 2 years, with your weekly roster flexible to account for study commitments and allow you to practically build your skills as a logistics operator. We are looking for a team player.
  • A bit of a ‘go getter’ whose perhaps had some exposure with stock taking or similar, but moreso, has the attitude and desire to progress their skills and obtain the relevant qualifications in to kick start their career in supply chain operations.

I commit to providing an outcome to all applicants as soon as a decision is reached but please note, shortlisting is an ongoing process, so it is encouraged to submit your application early via this portal.
If you require additional information that is not addressed above, you can reach me on: gemma.cox@alstomgroup.com or 0468 601 825 but please note, CV’s emailed do not constitute an application and will not be accepted.
