Since we are all about Retail - we need applicants to be interested in the world of retail. However our company has plenty of opportunities for growth, but we do believe that the best Employees are the ones that start at the bottom and work their way through all our different divisions.
Candidates will gain exposure to all divisions of the retail environment in order to grow their experience.
Candidates from all over will be considered and successful candidates will be placed in the store closest to them.
What you’ll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

• Count the float daily
• Work on the till when needed
• Assist with the cash-up procedures
• Sell products specific to campaigns
• Take customers’ orders
• Handle transactions and place food orders
• Pack away stock
• Clean the store
• Clean all the equipment
• Carry out instructions from management
• Ensure that fridges are always stocked
• Switch on all equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition
• Prepare and clean the food
• Help with the morning preparations for the food
• Help to prepare the meals if needed
• Occasionally handle and prepare orders

Requirements

• Matric
• English
• Clear criminal record

Preferences

Meeting the preferences would be a plus, but if you don’t, it won’t stop companies from considering you.

• Experience: General Assistant
• Within 15km from job
• Willing to travel frequently to visit stores/outlets often in remote/urban areas
• Must be Willing to work Retail Hours, i.e.: Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays/ Overtime/Shifts
• Must have good understanding of general retail operations and store management
• Have strong communication skills at various levels
• Attention to detail is essential
• Has sufficient store and product knowledge to address customer needs
• Emotional intelligence
• Manages multiple tasks, priorities and delegate others
