Description:

We are looking to provide a training opportunity to a band 6 MRI Radiographer in becoming a band 7 MRI reporting radiographer upon successful completion of postgraduate studies and clinical sign off. The successful candidate will need to complete a PG Cert in Clinical Reporting.
Upon completion of this training, you will be equipped to report MRI knees and spines examinations.
You will be working as part of a friendly team of Radiographers within MRI, working alongside rotational staff at Russells Hall Hospital and the Guest Outpatient Centre.
Our service is due to expand with additional capability plan. The departments are currently equipped with three state-of-the-art Siemens scanners.
We are a very busy multi skilled department, mainly based at Russell’s Hall Acute Hospital, with some shifts at both the Guest and Corbett outpatient departments. You may be expected to take part in any shift systems in operation and Bank Holiday, on-call services as required, supervising and assisting other out of hours support staff, including clerical staff and radiographic helpers.
Applicants must hold the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or a Degree in Radiography and be HCPC Registered with a minimum of 2 years MRI experience.
To provide senior oversight in your specified modality, performing high quality diagnostic examinations and independently clinically evaluating the information gained, recording relevant images and issuing a written report of the examination findings.
