In this role, you’ll receive robust support to develop your clinical and leadership skills. We offer a tailor-made development programme designed to match your skill set and experience. Ideally, you should be educated to master’s level or be willing to undertake a master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice. You will benefit from the guidance of a supportive consultant mentor and the opportunity to develop specific competencies.

If you are appointed on a Band 8a Annex 21 Contract your salary will be;
Year 1: 65% £37,276.85 per annum, pro rata
Year 2: 70% £40,144.30 per annum, pro rata
Year 3: 75% £43,011.75 per annum, pro rata

You will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, with the potential to work with other specialities to ensure that every patient referred into the rapid diagnostic centre receives quality care. A s an autonomous practitioner, they will be responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive service for managing patients who are referred into the colorectal service on a two week rule pathway.
