Valmet is seeking: 1 Trainee Sales - Flow Control Business Line
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Contract: 1-year temporary contract starting from September 2024
The selected candidate will join the South Europe, Middle East, and Africa Trainee program, an excellent opportunity to network with graduates from various countries.
The trainee’s objective: to support the Flow Control team in Portugal in growing the business. Focus on sectors other than pulp and paper and oil and gas, expanding into areas such as power generation, food and beverage, refineries, and chemicals.

Responsibilities:

• Support in identifying diversified customers.
• Systematization of the process for proper registration and follow-up of prospects.
• Monthly site visits to customer sites with senior colleagues.

Requirements:

• Currently completing or recently graduated in mechanical, chemical or instrumentation engineering; or in finance with a willingness to learn more about Valmet Flow Control’s technical products.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power BI.
• Desire to learn.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Autonomy and proactivity.
