    About the Role: Trainee Sample Preparation Technician - Rock
    Due to a big project win to support a major mining company, we’re on the look out for more staff!
    As a permanent member of our laboratory operations team, you’ll conduct daily soil testing procedures and collaborate with colleagues. Trilab offers more than a job; it’s a platform for professional growth, providing laboratory-based work and long-term career prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform rock core cutting, ensuring compliance with safety protocols including the use of masks.
  • Conduct grinding of rock core samples with precision.
  • Accurately measure and weigh samples, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Label samples appropriately for identification and tracking.
  • Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Compile comprehensive client test reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment crucial for rock testing.
  • Operate in a construction environment, emphasizing practical hands-on work over traditional laboratory settings.
