Description:

Your role in the JoJo story…:
You will assist the Technical Team in all areas of JoJo own brand development. In particular, you will provide administrative assistance to ensure the smooth running of sampling and production. Ranges covered will include childrenswear; baby & children’s nursery products and toys; and women’s and maternity wear as required for business needs.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Good understanding of the clothing critical path.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to liaise with all departments within JoJo and our supply base.
  • Confidence using Excel and similar spreadsheets for the role.
  • Work quickly and always to a very high standard with excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and an aptitude to learn whilst in the role.
  • Basic understanding of garment construction, fitting approval and fabric testing.
  • You’ll enjoy working under pressure and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee office sample management, ensure seasonal samples are rotated, shared resources are maintained and area is orderly.
  • Providing support to our Technologists to arrange and issue tech packs to suppliers, including sketches & grading charts.
  • Providing support on measuring and fitting of garments, providing observations on quality of make and helping to prepare for fitting.
  • Assisting in fitting garments with our Technologists, taking clear and detailed notes during the fit sessions, and as required updating paperwork to send to suppliers.
  • Attending team production meetings with Technical, Buying and Design to ensure Critical Path is on track. Where required, represent other members of technical team and feedback key notes from meeting.
  • Assessing shipment samples, checking measurements, method of make and ensuring the supplier has followed all pre-production comments.
  • Organise wearer trials - collate samples, send out with instructions, note key dates and chase through feedback
  • Ensuring labelling and packaging instructions are followed and compliant to our standards.
  • Ensuring production portal, along with key spreadsheets and documentation is completed to update the business of approval status of our products.
  • Review test reports against our testing trackers. Update status for passing results and highlight to technologist on fails.
