Description:
The paediatric team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join our ACP team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a suitability and commitment to advanced clinical practice; demonstrate that they are highly motivated, patient focused and exhibit a passion for clinical practice. You will need a mature and professional attitude to working with other children and their families and have the ability to make and maintain good working relationships.
If applying for a qualified ACP position you will be required to demonstrate all of the above characteristics along with your level of practice through a portfolio of evidence.
If applying as a trainee ACP, you will also need to demonstrate the above characteristics. Your learning needs will be assessed individually, and you will be supported through appropriate academic and clinical training pathways.
The role of an ACP within paediatrics at Mid Cheshire includes performing comprehensive assessments of children and family health care needs; planning, implementing and evaluating care delivery according to changing health care needs/identified problems.
The successful candidate will utilise advanced clinical skills and higher level, autonomous decision-making skills in the assessment and/or diagnosis and/or management of child health and illness including the critical application of research findings relevant to the management of children and their families.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K) and West Cheshire and Chester (population 357K).
