JOB SUMMARY

Entry support individual contributor that executes tasks, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Provides support for internal teams in the Quality Training function. Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma
  • Generally, Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES AND AFFILIATIONS

  • Previous experience in manufacturing; multi-functional knowledge in various areas of production preferred.
  • Ability to deliver and facilitate training and development interventions.
  • Must be capable of speaking publicly and directing people in groups or one on one.
  • Must be capable of developing training content and evaluating content by other creators to effectively train others.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, knowledge and ability.
  • Basic skills in mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office -Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good understanding of safety, ergonomics, international standards (ISO), and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules occasionally to accommodate training and delivery needs.
  • Must be able to evaluate jobs and create clear, concise job instructions.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles is desirable.
  • TWI Job Instructor certification is desirable.

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Completes tasks for the support function of the Quality Training unit, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  • Communicates with cross-functional teams to improve and standardize training processes.
  • Organizes training materials prepared by instructors within the Quality Training function.
  • Ensures all hard-copy training records are completed accurately and filed correctly.
  • Helps monitor compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures within the Quality Training function.
  • Assists with policies and procedures, quality records, and external certifications.
  • Compiles quality performance measurement and analysis in order to help team achieve business goals.
  • Composes responses to inquiries that meet customers’ expectations.
  • Observes the performance of audits to assess compliance to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Observes quality performance measurements and analysis in order to help team achieve business goals.
  • Communicates policies and procedures, quality records, and external certifications.
  • Answers customer inquiries to meet customers’ expectations.
  • Helps review the performance of audits to assess compliance to quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures all manufacturing personnel are trained and qualified to the corresponding specifications/procedures using documents, materials, and tools as provided in the applicable training curriculum(s).
  • Assists in the development, approval maintenance, and monitoring of training plans to ensure training is aligned with job descriptions, business goals and objectives.
  • Partners with people leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of current training practices; Helps in the identification of skills and/or training needs on which efforts should be focused to improve site training efficiency and personnel proficiency.
  • Monitors training curriculums and applicable documents related to designated areas of responsibility to ensure accuracy and applicable assignments are maintained.
  • Maintains knowledge and skills in all production operations (manufacturing processes) within areas of responsibility.
  • Runs required training reports and customized reports per customer requests.
  • Monitors Learning Management System (LMS) data related to the OPCERT process and coordinates initial certification assessments and recertification.
  • Performs training audits and Training Within Industry (TWI) Process Confirmation Checks (PCCs).
  • Creates course codes, class codes, and maintains training records and applicable documentation.
  • Attends production and quality meetings of designated areas on a regular basis.
  • Conducts New Hire Orientation as needed (theory and practical).
  • Complies with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).
  • Teaches and certifies selected personnel to execute the responsibility of On-the-Job Training (OJT).
  • Performs TWI Recertification training and TWI practical evaluations.
  • Teaches, coaches, and certifies selected personnel to execute the responsibility of On-the-Job Training (OJT) and TWI Job Instruction.
  • Creates and revises Job Breakdown Sheets (JBS) for new or existing jobs/activities, ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices.
  • Performs Operator Certification practical evaluations as needed.
  • Supports protocol training as needed.
  • Ensures all personnel required to be certified are appropriately trained, qualified and certified.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
