Description:

A leading multimodal representative trade association now seeks to hire a Trainer/ Auditor who will report the Senior Training Manager. With a decade of establishment, the trade association has strategically cultivated key relationships with industry stakeholders and government departments, solidifying its reputation as a proactive force dedicated to fostering efficiency and sustainability within the logistics domain.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold a current Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage or Passenger Transport.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the freight distribution and logistics industry.
  • Train the Trainer Qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Independent, objective, and self-motivated.
  • Decision-making ability and initiative.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Flexible to travel and work across the island of Ireland.
  • RSA approved for delivery of Driver CPC modules.
  • Health and Safety qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills & Flexibility
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand and apply principles, procedures, and techniques.
  • Commitment to ongoing individual learning and development
  • Full Driving licence

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Training Programmes, focusing on CPC Training modules. Ensure that training services meet the highest standards and are aligned with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform compliance audits, to uphold operational compliance in freight distribution, passenger services, health and safety, road safety, and commercial fleet operations.
  • Stay informed about new legislation and contribute to the development and design of training materials in accordance with evolving industry standards.
  • Collaborate in identifying in-company training needs and assist in creating tailored training solutions.
  • Work with management to develop guidance materials for the transport and logistics sector, ensuring they reflect industry advancements and decarbonization efforts.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members, trainers, and management to ensure a cohesive approach to training and auditing services.
