Job Description
The Learning Experience Facilitator is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery and maintenance of learning topics for Visa employees.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of relevant learning topics and an energy and passion to facilitate or support engaging 3Es (Experience, Exposure and Education) learning programs both in person and virtually.
This role may also help train, certify and work with SME (Subject Matter Expert) faculty in order to scale training delivery where possible.

Responsibilities

  • Apply mastery of domain knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional training for all knowledge levels and audiences
  • Facilitate both in person and virtually, against a schedule that will meet learner demands and support organizational goals and priorities
  • Communicate openly with key stakeholders internally and externally to build deep and trusted partner relationships that have a clear understanding of needs and objectives and a focus on ease of doing business
  • Effectively utilize training delivery to promote and inspire a culture of learning that encourages continuous performance improvement, innovation, and learner engagement
  • Bring an innovative mind set to each training experience and champion new ideas and ways of delivering and engaging learners
  • Partner with Learning Experience Enablement team to schedule training rooms and facilities, confirming availability, and that all necessary equipment is in place prior to training
  • Provide pre-class and follow-up support for learner queries as needed in a timely manner
  • Support “Exposure and Experience” via online forums, communities, social media platforms that enable learner engagement and connection pre- or post-training sessions
  • Engage with the learner population to develop empathy and understanding
  • Engage with appropriate business function teams to ensure that you stay on top of the latest information and developments in your domain areas
  • Collaborate, as SME and reviewer, with design function during content development and continuous improvement updates as needed
  • Ensure class evaluations are completed and the highest standards are maintained based on management, stakeholder, and COE (Center of Excellence) standards
  • Actively review the effectiveness and efficiency of deliveries for continuous improvement
  • Work with other facilitators as needed for cross-training purposes
  • Ability to learn new learning topics quickly and deliver effectively as assigned
  • May lead, train, certify, coach and develop faculty to scale delivery in your subject areas
  • Identify on an ongoing basis potential learning gaps and/or needs of employees and ensure feedback cross functionally

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in training with a bachelor’s degree in HR, Learning and Development, related discipline or at least 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree
  • Strong, polished executive presence and business acumen

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years with progressive experience in training delivery.

  • Passion for teaching and facilitation and providing the best learning experiences for learners.
  • Ability to deliver learning programs using single channel or blended approaches, including virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training (ILT), peer-to-peer learning, on-the-job learning and eLearning
  • Ability to increase learner engagement in course facilitation, social media and communities
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and consulting skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship management and influencing skills at all levels in an organization
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing content and strategies
  • Deep knowledge of delivery topics applied to the payments business
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex concepts into terms that are easy to understand for learning audiences in an influential and persuasive manner
  • Strong influencing skills at all levels in an organization
