Description:
My client, a leading global organisation is currently seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join their team.
The primary purpose of the role will be to collaborate with Managers, Supervisors, Training Coordinators and other personnel to ensure that the effectiveness and integrity of the training processes are of the highest quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide training, coaching & mentoring for Training Coordinators to empower a proactive team, encouraging continuous improvement & growth within the team.
- Represent site from training perspective at audits
- Liaise with the corporate Training and Development network and support implementation of corporate requirements
- Ensure all site training and tracking practices comply with the requirements of Quality System and applicable local department practices.
- Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques, in support of delivering continuous improvement in training processes and practices
- Assist in the evaluation and optimization of training systems and procedures. Identify and analyze training and development needs for the Cork site to address issues and opportunities
- Support development of KPI’s for effective analysis of production training in support of identifying opportunities for improving training efficiency and effectiveness
- Ability to perform SME certifications and evaluations, PB certification and training file reviews
- Recognised SME on TRS and other training related applications and tools used at the Cork site, and can support resolving technical issues
- May perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Experience required:
Third level degree qualified training professional with a proven track record working in a similar role. A keen team player with excellent stakeholder engagement experience required
