Description:

Wood has an immediate requirement for a Training & Competency Specialist to join our Consulting Business Unit based in Perth CBD in Western Australia. This position reports to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Training & Competency Manager and is an excellent opportunity to either create or expand your footprint in the Resource Sector.
You will become part of a team focused on designing and delivering training solutions for our clients across the wider APAC region.

Working in a team to deliver training and competency recording and assurance services to clients to ensure the correct competencies and certifications as mandated by statutes, and standards to carry out their role safely.

  • Training Matrix compliance management, monitoring and reporting (incl. client specific reports)
  • Support in the development of training processes
  • Responsible for the delivery of accurate, standardised reporting on Competence data quality allowing for accurate analysis

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Competency mapping and adult learning principles
  • Design and develop learning material and assessments
  • Facilitation / training delivery
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Training needs analysis
  • Stakeholder engagement
