Job Description
Reporting to the Training Superintendent, you will liaise with all Maintenance and CHPP stakeholders to ensure compliance with HVO Training Competency Management System which includes, Onboarding, TNA development & associated reporting. Preferably you will have a trade related background with experience in mine equipment maintenance & CHPP operations.

About the Role

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively set expectations and resolve issues.
  • Maintain and control an effective training scheme to meet legislative, corporate and site requirements.
  • Ensure that accountabilities with respect to training systems are communicated to all site personnel.
  • Support ongoing development of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) using prescribed data & input from stakeholders to future training endeavours.
  • Assisting with training record management as required
  • Reviewing training material for validity / currency
  • Reviewing system training reports and plan training requirement to meet compliance targets
  • Liaising with the Training Superintendent, departmental leaders and supervisors to implement shift training compliance plans

Roster and Location

  • Monday to Friday professional roster
  • Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)

About You

  • Trade related background - Preferred
  • A formal qualification in Training & Assessment
  • A demonstrated background in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a training and assessment in an industrial environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Can do attitude and alignment to HVO’s values
