As a Training Engineer, you will assist the Lifecycle Services Manager QLD to plan, facilitate and deliver technical training activities ensuring the quality of programs and training expertise meets participant and organizational expectations. In addition, this role is required to provide technical service and support to DeltaV customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Experience in DeltaV is a plus.
  • Certificate IV – Workplace Assessment & Training or Train the Trainer certified.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Manage, facilitate, and deliver customer and internal technical training and development programs for Emerson throughout Australia, New Zealand, and internationally if required.
  • Liaise with customers to assess their individual needs and align with available training courses.
  • Facilitate customised technical training programs, including course materials and manuals for customers as required.
  • Maintain certifications and key knowledge to present Emerson technical courses.
  • Evaluate and review the performance progress of trainees by using feedback assessments.
  • Participate in technical training administration, including the logistical planning of training resources and Training Schedules.
  • Update system setup for new versions of software on training kits. Ensure that training equipment is properly maintained and fit for training.
  • Other duties as directed.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Degree in an Engineering related discipline.
  • Experience in process automation and delivering training to customers or internal employees.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating technical programs.
  • DCS diagnostic and problem analysis, fault finding, minor upgrades, general repair and maintenance experience.
