Who We’re Looking For
The Training Specialist will be responsible to for ensuring high-quality, consistent training for a variety of audiences within Syniverse. In addition, the Training Specialist will partner with internal stakeholders to assist in identifying training/development needs and leverage existing programs or creating new training for employees to become subject matter experts. The individual filling this role should be someone who us up to date with learning trends and methods while consistently researching and applying better ways to develop and deliver necessary training materials thereby guaranteeing operational success.

Some of What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define training standards and partner with teams to enhance training quality aligned with learning best practices.
  • Collects information related to work procedures, workflow, and report to develop training curriculum.
  • Organize training content and make accessible/automated via the Learning Management System.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains training materials for various audiences.
  • Understand training needs of different groups and prioritizes content to be developed.
  • Create and adapt curriculum for a variety of audiences and learning delivery methods.
  • Certify Operations Subject Matter Experts/Trainers with learning best practices.
  • Collect data and analyze the impact of training initiatives.
  • Assess, plan, develop, and deliver training and learning initiatives.
  • Provides technical and/or operational support to projects and programs.
  • Research trends and improvements in learning technology and provide guidance to leverage new features and resources.
  • Maintain class records in LMS, including class registrations, attendance, metrics, and evaluations.

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the field of HR, Information Technology, Education, and Educational/Instructional Technology, Technology or relevant professional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with instructional design with focus on eLearning and Mobile Learning content development and related tools
  • Maintains or willing to complete certificate in learning and design.
  • Learning Management experience preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and deliver multiple work projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint
