Who we are looking for
A dedicated professional with an experience in either a in a legal/paralegal environment or a financial institution environment (ideally transaction structuring or transaction management) and a proven interest for emerging markets development and/or microfinance. We seek a person who is passionate for our mission and vision and who will would integrate well with the staff and corporate values.
The position is based in our office in London, with reporting line to the Head of Structuring. We offer a dynamic work environment in a growing industry and an opportunity to work in the social investment space with a for-profit company.

Job Description
Transaction Legal
Drafting/review of transaction documents related to loans and issuance of bond transactions (prospectus / final terms / loan agreement / other transaction documents) with the assistance of external legal counsel where required
Following through a transaction until closing/completion (liaise internally with other teams and externally with clients/borrowers)
Transaction management in relation to bond issuances (liaise internally with transaction sponsors as well as with external service providers)
Verification of conditions precedent as well as of the execution of legal documentation
Set-up of transactions in IT systems (covenants and terms)
Structuring
Participate in transaction committees and advising on transaction structuring aspects, in particular in relation to transaction security
Drafting/review of transaction term-sheets
Participation in ad-hoc projects related to new transaction structures
Your Qualification
Skills/qualifications/experience
We are looking for a dynamic person, autonomous, and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. More specifically, we have the following requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant field (law/finance);
At least 2-3 years of experience in financial or legal / paralegal financing environment (including drafting or review of transaction documents);
Strong interest and/or experience in financing transactions in emerging & developing markets;
Experience in executing or drafting legal documents, ideally in context of capital market transactions is a strong plus;
Understanding of fixed income capital markets;
Strong financial and numerical skills;
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point;
Highly motivated, well-organised with a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity;
Willingness to learn;
Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment;
Capacity to handle multiple tasks and under pressure;
Takes ownership and accountability of tasks assigned;
Ability to follow established processes and work with deadlines;
Fluent in English; Knowledge of French and Spanish is a strong plus
