Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
Support Tax on S&P Global Inc’s Enterprise projects
Participate in system testing and validation of transactions as part of S&P’s projects and tax process improvement priorities.
Collaborate with project team members and workstreams on project deliverables.
Maintain project templates and assist with weekly update reporting.
Participate on cross-functional projects to support the company’s priorities.
Support collaboration with our global team and cross-functional colleagues, to support projects and other business priorities.
Assist in timely gathering of tax requirements and comments from tax team and consolidate for submission to project teams.
Follow up with stakeholders/ project team regarding configuration, unit testing, User Acceptance Testing, and deployment.
Monitor and track project tasks and progress to ensure timely reporting.
Responsible to comprehensively review, validate, and provide comments on testing results based on scenarios provided by tax.
Coordinate with Tax project team for requirements validation and sign off.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team priorities.
What We’re Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting systems (SAP Oracle Fusion, Salesforce CPQ knowledge).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong excel skills preferred).
Superior analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Demonstrated flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast-changing environment.
Strong team player.
Knowledge of tax desired to provide more technical and impactful support.
Salesforce CPQ, SAP/Oracle Fusion knowledge desired
Prior experience in supporting tax compliance and project desired.
