Our client is seeking a Transactional Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, three days per week required in the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising transactional teams, managing balance sheet reconciliations, leading process improvements, and supporting various internal teams. What you’ll do:

As a Transactional Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in organising and managing transactional teams to ensure high standards of processing accuracy. You will lead process improvements within the department, driving efficiency and consistency across all operations. Your role will involve supporting various internal teams such as cash management and accounts payable, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely supplier payments. You will also be responsible for providing clear information to finance and wider business management teams, highlighting any issues or trends. This role requires a proactive individual who can align team objectives with the strategic goals of the department.

  • Organise the transactional teams ensuring high standard of processing accuracy and efficient resource utilisation
  • Manage the completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations of the Transaction Team, understanding and clearing any variances
  • Lead process improvements within the department to improve efficiencies and consistency
  • Support the cash management team ensuring accurate reconciliations
  • Support the accounts payable team ensuring timely supplier payments and effective query resolution
  • Ensure timely collection of debt and escalate non-collection accordingly
  • Support sourcing and merchandising teams ensuring accuracy of changes in supplier terms
  • Provide clear information to finance and wider business management teams highlighting issues, trends, and performance
  • Align team objectives with the strategic goals of the department
  • Manage delivery of business led projects that impact on transaction teams

The ideal Transactional Finance Manager will bring a wealth of experience in managing high volumes of transactions, particularly in Accounts Payable and Cash Reconciliations. You will have proven experience of managing within a wider financial team and the ability to build strong relationships both externally and internally.
