YOUR PROFILE:

We are looking for a strong Transactional Manager who can challenge the status quo and lead change, whilst having the ability to build strong working relationships within the wider business, and work well under pressure and with clarity of thought. We are looking for:

  • Practical experience of working in a medium - large organisation

  • Strong Staff management skills having managed a team across multiple disciplines

  • You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and pick up transactional processing
  • Strong knowledge of working across multiple ERP’s and systems
  • Experience with process and system review and improvement
  • Strong excel and reporting skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

As the Transactional Manager you will report directly into the CEO whilst managing a team of 5 across Accounts Payables and Receivables in a highly hybrid working environment. You will be the main point of contact to the Group Finance Team as well as multiple advisors to the group to enable the smooth running and processes within the entity. Your key duties will include:

  • Supervising a team of 5 across Payables and Receivables
  • Timely and accurate reporting to trial balance state
  • Weekly reporting of activity management from multiple systems
  • Reviewing of invoices and payment schedules on a weekly basis
  • Reconciliations of payments, receipts, credit cards, bank accounts and ledgers
  • Month-end processing of journals, accruals and pre-payments
  • Maintaining relationships and dealing with queries from customers and the group finance function
  • Management of overhead costs including licences and franchise costs
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
