Responsibilities:
TE TŪRANGA | ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Transactional Services Coordinator you will be working in the Banking and Collections team to ensure that customers can pay Council and can receive assistance on any related matters. Your primary focus will be with non-rates debt management.
Day to day responsibilities may include;
- Generating excel reports
- Following the debt process with customers
- Assisting the wider team with rates collection as required
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring;
- A relevant qualification at trade certificate/diploma level, or work experience.
- Understanding of debt management would be preferred but not essential.
- A logical approach to issues and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
- A positive customer service philosophy.
- Proven computer skills with high level of accuracy and excellent numerical skills
