The primary focus of the role will be to support the Head of the Centre of excellence in developing the FS transfer pricing knowledge of ForvisMazars globally. This will be built upon a deep understanding of our client’s businesses and the subsectors in which they operate. You will work closely with the Partner and Director team across FS transfer pricing in all jurisdictions to develop relationships, take best practice from each jurisdiction and disseminate that to transfer pricing teams globally. You will have a lead role in leading Global Transfer pricing proposals and tax efficient structure planning. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop relationships throughout the ForvisMazars network
  • Understand our client’s businesses and proactively identify new opportunities for applying FS transfer pricing principles globally
  • Develop broader business and build a strong referral network
  • Provide Banking, Asset Management, Real Estate and/or Insurance sector insight and technical support on the full range of transfer pricing matters
  • Undertake research, write opinions, provide cross-border and/or cross-functional advice, resolve complex issues for transfer pricing projects across the global firm
  • Develop training programmes to enable teams across the Forvis Mazars transfer pricing network to be able to effectively manage complex FS transfer pricing matters Coach other team members, with appraisal management responsibilities if desired
  • Work closely and collaboratively across the Partner and Director group globally
  • Contribute positively to the work environment and well-being of the team

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

We are seeking people who are keen to work in a collaborative team environment and develop their project management experience, technical skills and commercial acumen. The role will suit someone comfortable in building relationships, sharing knowledge and delivering technical excellence. Specific requirements:

  • Qualified at ACA, CTA or equivalent level (eg, legal/HMRC/international)
  • Strong Banking/Insurance/Asset Management/Real Estate/Insurance industry and transfer pricing knowledge and experience is essential
  • Strong awareness of broader tax, international tax, regulatory and accounting areas
  • Strong track record of managing large accounts across multiple projects and over a multi-year period
  • Experienced at researching and analysing complex matters to resolve complex FS transfer pricing matters
  • Able to lead and drive projects, meet deadlines and manage the financial impacts
  • Experienced at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Strong people management, team management and communication (oral & written)
  • Adaptable and organised with a commercial approach
  • Able to exercise good judgement and risk management
