Are you our next Transformation Coordinator?
As a Transformation Coordinator, your role is to be a key driver in the development, integration, and sustainability of a transformational culture across North American Production (Potash) facilities. Under the guidance of the Transformation Manager and working with a team of Transformation Leads across the Potash sites, you’ll be responsible for assessing, prioritizing, and executing various projects aligned with overall objectives for the global Transformation and Strategy team. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with site personnel in executing transformation projects, providing project leadership conducting audits and assessments, and gathering ideas from employees in an effort to develop a project pipeline, seek consistency in approach, and foster a transformation culture.

What will you do:

  • Working with the Manager, Transformation (Potash) and site Leads, the Coordinator will play a key role in developing and implementing Transformation projects and processes, ensuring consistency and alignment, that includes scorecards, execution of initiatives and training.
  • The coordinator will coach and counsel project teams on standardized Transformation and Performance Management guidelines, metrics, systems and goals across Potash sites.
  • Act as an advocate for change and transformation. Coordinate and contribute to the process of identification of projects and facility improvements by gathering ideas and concerns from all levels of the organization.
  • Identify barriers/resistance and push up to management to ensure that the facility continues to build the Transformational Culture.
  • Lead role in conducting reporting, auditing and making recommendations for optimizing the facility systems to improve plant metrics, processes, procedures, reliability, engagement, safety, and quality.
  • Contribute team efforts in building the Transformational culture to realize benefits across all Transformation initiatives and the Transformation toolsets including Daily Dialogues, business acumen, establishing site and departmental improvement targets and feedback systems.
  • Assist formal and informal change agents to optimize the ability of the site to effectively implement change at the optimal pace and sustainability.
  • Work with Potash Transformation Mgr in the development, management, monitoring and retargeting of KPI’s for the site and local teams.

What will you need:

  • Associate degree in engineering or business required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree; with degree 2-3+ yrs of experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and continuous improvement experience with an understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. Experience as a team member or team leader executing Transformation activities that drive organizational results and change.
  • Operations experience considered an asset.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Experience as a team member or team leader executing Transformation activities that drive organizational results and change.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: asset management, cost/life cycle analysis, maintenance/reliability, and industrial process systems is an asset but may not be required and needs will be assessed against the capabilities of the Transformation staff.
  • Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of giving and receiving honest feedback.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills (without authority), with ability to use fact-based and well-thought-out arguments to challenge or change behavior/techniques as required.
  • Ability to hold performance dialogues and identify root-causes of problems with all levels of the organizations. Drives to actionable outcomes and follows up on results.
  • Ability to build proficiency in training, communication, presentations skills and development of materials.
